Week 2 and since lockdown eased I'm back to work full-full time. I am really anxious, I don't have enough time to make the progress I planned!
This week I wanted to make the decision on the wall colour with the owner.
I painted 2 canvasses with the colours:
Farrow and Ball Studio Green and
Little Green Jewel Beetle
We loved both colours so the decision was really hard.
For the headboard I ordered 5 grasscloth samples.
They are all from Galerie wallpaper - I love them all, but there are two that really fit in the scheme:
I decided to go for the more textures
HERE IS THE WINNER COMBO
And the boring but very important part:
Double check all the measurements:
I usually make a hand drawing to understand all the measurements and remember the situation:
I need to finalise the details with the joiner who is helping with the headboard.
Next week's tasks:
- Order the paints
- One more fabric to order: rust colour linen for the trimming of the tapestry and other decoration items
- Order the grasscloth
- Start the sewing: roman blind, valance sheet, line the tapestry.
- Cut the blind kit to the size
Uhh, really anxious about not having enough free time!
