ONE ROOM CHALLENGE week 6 - a small guest bedroom makeover - painting

Updated: Jun 27, 2021

I got day off for Tuesday, Wednesday - time for the painting - but first needed to install the wall lights and the wood rail for the tapestry.

I am not the best with drilling but all went all right and did not need to fix any unwanted holes and damage

I wanted as neat painting as possible so frogtaped all around the lines, screwed out the switches too.

For the picture rail was chosen different colour as originally planned, the owner did not like the rust colour so I choose a light yellowy greeny olive, Little Green Citrine, it's a colour from the tapestry and looks nice with the Little Green Jewel Beetle.

Sadly the shop did have only 2 sample pot nothing else so I could not finish the picture rail

Next week task: need to install the headboard and I still have to sew the valance for the bed and few cushions

Can't wait to see everything is coming together!
